2024 LPGA Ford Arizona Championship

Seville Golf and Country Club, a premier venue in Gilbert, AZ, will host the 2024 Arizona Championship. The tournament will be held March 28-31, and will feature a field of 144 players competing for a $2 million purse, with $300,000 awarded to the winner.

“We are extremely excited to bring the LPGA Tour back to Arizona, a state that has long provided excellent playing opportunities for our athletes,” said Scott Wood, Vice President of LPGA Properties. “The membership and staff at Seville Golf and Country Club has welcomed us with open arms, and they will certainly be wonderful partners in this championship. Arizona sports fans are in for a week of incredible competition come late March.”

Seville Golf and Country Club, part of the Invited portfolio of golf courses, was designed by Gary Panks and opened in 2000. The course is surrounded by the beauty of the Sonoran Desert and offers breathtaking views of the San Tan Mountains and the Gila River. The championship course features a signature island green on No. 17, which is sure to add to the drama as the Arizona Championship comes down the final stretch.

“Seville Golf and Country Club is looking forward to hosting its first LPGA Tour event and making the athletes and tournament staff, as well as golf’s global fans, feel at home at our spectacular venue,” said Patrick Brophy, General Manager of Seville Golf and Country Club. “This will be a unique opportunity for our members to experience and be a part of a top professional golf event.”

The LPGA Tour is no stranger to competing in Arizona, visiting the Grand Canyon State more than 70 times since its inception in 1950. Most recently, Celine Boutier captured the 2023 Drive On Championship at Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club for the first of her four victories in 2023. This will mark the first professional competition held at Seville Golf and Country Club, which includes LPGA Tour Member Alena Sharp among its membership.
