Wednesday’s event lineup includes the ever-popular Annexus Pro-Am, which features PGA TOUR professionals playing alongside community and business leaders, as well as celebrities from the world of sports and entertainment. Scheduled to appear this year include Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Phelps, Darius Rucker, Archie Bradley, Nolan Arenado, Alexandra O’Laughlin, Rob Riggle, Zac Gallen, Gerina Piller and others.
Wednesday also showcases the Phoenix Suns Charities Shot at Glory, which takes place on the famed 16th hole after the Pro-Am and highlights charities, sponsors and celebs taking a shot at $1 million for charity.
The field for the 2021 tournament is one of the best ever and features five of the Top-10 golfers in the world and 21 of the Top-50, including first-time participant Rory McIlroy and defending champion Webb Simpson. Other world-class players and fan favorites in the field include Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas, Rickie Fowler, Xander Schauffele, Brooks Koepka, Daniel Berger, Matthew Wolff, Gary Woodland and Bubba Watson.
The 2021 WM Phoenix Open will be held at TPC Scottsdale February 1-7. “The People’s Open” was named the Tournament of the Year by the PGA TOUR four times in the past six years (2014, 2015, 2018, 2019) to acknowledge the tournament’s legendary status as one the most unique events in golf. The 2021 edition will mark the 86th playing of the event (one of the five oldest events on the PGA TOUR) and the 12th as the WM Phoenix Open.
