Bridgestone is offering the XW-1 in two finishes, Black Oxide and Satin Chrome, each of which is available in the following lofts: 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 60. Only offered in right-handed models at launch, each XW-1 wedge comes stock with the True Temper DG Spinner shaft and Golf Pride MultiCompound grip.
“For anyone who thinks of Bridgestone as just a great golf ball company, the XW-1 wedges are a prime example of the insanely high quality of our clubs,” says Zack Kupperbusch, Golf Club Marketing. “In a time where many OEM’s continue to cut corners by producing cast heads, Bridgestone Golf emphasizes feel through unmatched forgings and true innovations.”
The new XW-1 wedges join a variety of TOUR B products introduced earlier this year, including the XD-3, XD-5 and XD-7 drivers, XD-F fairway woods, XD-H hybrids and X-CB and X-Blade irons.
Each is built to the tightest of tolerances using the finest materials availalbe. TOUR B drivers are priced at $699, while fairway woods and hybrids are listed at $399 and $249, respectively. Both the X-CB and X-Blade are $1200 (4-PW).
Bridgestone’s professional staff features 14-time major championship winner Tiger Woods, FedExCup champion Brandt Snedeker, Olympics bronze medalist Matt Kuchar, Masters winner Fred Couples, three-time major champion Nick Price, Bryson DeChambeau, Hudson Swafford and LPGA Tour star Karrie Webb.
